When Tony Blair and his kitchen cabinet last night accepted the BBC's
"unreserved apology" over the Hutton report's stinging verdict on the
Kelly affair they insisted that they are seeking no more scalps from
what Downing Street acknowledges to be one of the pre-eminent brands in
global broadcasting.
